Hub Transit operates a scheduled route bus and an on-call bus, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The on-call bus is out-of-service from noon to 1:00 p.m. for lunch. The scheduled route bus is out-of-service from 11:55 a.m. until 12:55 p.m. for lunch as well.

Passengers with special needs (mobility, disability, work transit) are asked to schedule on-call bus service. The scheduled route bus will not leave its regular route to drop riders off at their homes or destinations.

Fares

For the route bus, fares are as follows:

• Adult: $5.00 one-way
• Youth (Ages 4-12): $2 one-way
• Children (Ages 3 and Under): FREE
• Support person for individuals with disabilities: FREE

For the urban Sioux Lookout On-Call bus, fares are as follows:

• Adult: $15.00 one-way
• Youth (ages 4-12): $5 one-way
• Adult with Disability Card: $5.00 one-way
• Youth with Disability Card: $2 one-way
• Children (Ages 3 and Under): FREE
• Support person for individuals with disabilities: FREE

Please note that all riders age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, for safety.

Hub Transit Passes are available from the Finance Department at the Municipal Office, 25 Fifth Avenue, during regular business hours.

20 Ride Passes are $70.00 and do not expire.
Monthly Passes are $110.00 for unlimited rides in the month purchased.

Flagged Stops

Hub Transit users may use designated stops along our scheduled route, or create “flagged stops” in the flagged stop area (red northern section of the route map above) to board and depart the bus.

When you want to flag the route bus to stop, complete the following steps for a safe and efficient boarding:

• Find a safe location along the route where visibility is clear and the bus can stop easily.
• Stand on the side of the road on which the bus is travelling.
• Wave at the bus driver to request a stop.
• Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop.
• Board the bus!
